Worship

Worship is an integral and sweet part of  ”Freedom Weekend”. Our worship is humbly presented to the Lord with an attitude of submission, honor and humility. It is offered as a time of reflection, praise and adoration of our Father God, His Son, our Lord and Saviour and the Holy Spirit whose very presence at our retreat marks it’s success and renders it pleasing to God .

Here are just a few references from God’s Word about the importance of worship:

Psalm 29:2
Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.

Psalm 95:6
Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;

Psalm 100:2
Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.

Luke 4:8
Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’ ”

John 4:23
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
